Cone-headed cricket, or bush cricket. This fella showed up inside the house later that evening: I think, hitching a ride on my laundry basket. They're nocturnal, and I think it had crawled inside the washing machine cover to hide for the day, and when I moved it off the machine, the basket was nearby.
